Ok top ten observations from edgefest:
- Inebriation does not make you a better dancer
- Dancing inebriated does make you good entertainment
- It also sometimes causes you to make new bff's, who you then forget about three minutes later
- The songs that are played on the radio are usually not a very good indication of the actual genre/style of music for any given band
- Lots of bands have really old musicians
- Lots of bands have really old fans
- Drunk dancing grannies are really entertaining too... until you picture your own grandma there dancing like that
- Irish punk rocks
- If you walk into a tent with a box of stuff and say it's free, a mob will form (and you don't wanna be the guy holding the box) AND FINALLY....
- Don't wear flip-flops in a mosh pits!
My favorite bands were Everlast, Authority Zero, Pennywise and Flogging Molly (Irish punk!)
It was lots of fun and just the beginning of my concert-going!
What new adventure next? Hmmm.............
